AhlulBayt News Agency: The Shia community of the city of Makhachkala in Russia, has issued a statement in support of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The text of the statement is as follows:
In the name of Allah; We, the representatives of the Shia community of Makhachkala, declare our fundamental position and concern regarding the continued interference of foreign governments in the internal affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Such actions are against the international law, undermine the foundations of a state sovereignty, and pose a threat to stability and peace in the entire Islamic world and beyond. The Shia community of Makhachkala has always emphasized the need for respecting the independence, territorial integrity, and the right of nations to independently determine development path without external pressure.
We also express our support for the policies of the Russian Federation and our national leader, Vladimir Putin which are aimed at developing good, equal, and mutually respectful relationships with neighboring countries, particularly the Islamic Republic of Iran.
We believe that strategic partnership between Russia and Iran is aimed at strengthening regional security, stability, the establishment of a just multi-polar world order.
The Shia people of Dagestan affirm their unwavering faith in the wisdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, and also the commitment of the Iranian nation to the ideals of unity, national pride, and sovereignty.
We believe in the power of the Islamic nation's resistance spirit to the conspiracies of enemies and imperial forces and their accomplices, who are plotting to weaken social cohesion and destroy Iranian unity of Muslim nation of Iran.
This spiritual backing is the source of endurance, faith, and confidence in the Iranian society. We pray for the flourishing, and comprehensive development of Iran, and also for the further strengthening of the friendly relations between the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran, to the benefit of our nations and the entire Islamic world.
